Hair fall is often linked to weakened fibre, a stressed scalp and roots that have lost their natural resistance. The Kérastase Genesis range targets these concerns at every step, using Edelweiss Native Cells and Ginger Root to reinforce hair from root to tip and gradually reduce shedding.

For an oilier, impurity-prone scalp, the Genesis Bain Hydra-Fortifiant shampoo is a good fit. Formulated with Ginger Root and Edelweiss Native Cells, this clarifying cleanser removes sebum and pollution particles whilst strengthening the fibre, leaving hair feeling lighter, fuller and healthier.

Dry, fragile hair benefits from the Genesis Bain Nutri-Fortifiant shampoo. Enriched with Ginger Root and Edelweiss Native Cells, this nourishing, moisture-boosting cleanser soothes and hydrates the scalp whilst strengthening the fibre, so hair feels softer, fuller and healthier from root to tip.

Breakage often starts with rough detangling. The Genesis Fondant Renforçateur Conditioner restores the fibre's natural resistance, offering immediate strength and softness whilst its sulphate-free, silicone-free formula detangles, adds body and brings out shine.

The Genesis Masque Reconstituant, used once or twice a week, can make a visible difference. Powered with Edelweiss Native Cells, Ginger Root and Arginine, it intensely nourishes and reinforces the fibre, restoring softness whilst reducing the risk of hair fall caused by breakage.

The Genesis Défense Thermique Blow-dry Primer is designed to shield hair before heat tools come into play. With Edelweiss Native Cells and Ginger Root, this lightweight primer offers heat protection up to 230°C, an anti-breakage action, frizz control for 24 hours and a silky, irresistible finish.

Repeated heat styling can leave the fibre prone to splitting. The Genesis Défense Thermique Blow-dry Primer, formulated with strengthening actives and an anti-breakage complex, helps prevent split ends, detangles hair and boosts shine, all whilst defending against frizz for up to 24 hours.

Thinning at the root is often tied to weakened anchoring. The Genesis Anti-Hairfall Serum, enriched with Aminexil, Edelweiss Native Cells and Ginger Root, works to re-anchor follicles more solidly into the scalp, minimising breakage and supporting fuller-looking hair over time.

With consistent daily use, visible improvement typically begins around six weeks. The Genesis Anti-Hairfall Serum, a lightweight, silicone-free formula, boosts resistance at the root and works continuously to minimise hair loss, strengthening hair day after day for healthier, fuller-looking results.

Yes, when formulated for scalp use. The Genesis Anti-Hairfall Serum is designed to be applied to a clean scalp, where its concentrated actives target and reinforce the roots without weighing hair down, thanks to its lightweight, silicone-free formula.

A consistent, multi-step routine tends to deliver the most visible results. Pairing the Genesis Bain Nutri-Fortifiant or Genesis Bain Hydra-Fortifiant shampoo with the Genesis Fondant Renforçateur Conditioner, the Genesis Masque Reconstituant once or twice weekly, and the Genesis Anti-Hairfall Serum daily addresses fibre strength, scalp health and root anchoring together.

Edelweiss Native Cells and Ginger Root are key actives to look for, as they reinforce the fibre and support a healthier scalp environment. Found throughout the Kérastase Genesis range, including the Genesis Bain Nutri-Fortifiant and Genesis Bain Hydra-Fortifiant shampoos, this combination consistently helps strengthen hair from root to tip.

Conditioner plays a real role beyond softness. The Genesis Fondant Renforçateur Conditioner, enriched with Edelweiss Native Cells and Ginger Root, restores the fibre's natural resistance, helping reduce the risk of hair fall whilst leaving hair detangled, with added body and shine.

Gentle detangling paired with the right actives makes a difference. The sulphate-free, silicone-free Genesis Fondant Renforçateur Conditioner provides immediate strength and softness, easing tangles whilst reinforcing the fibre against breakage for healthier-looking lengths.
